Newberry Urn by Campania International

The Newberry Urn by Campania International adds charm and character to any space. Planters can be placed outdoors on a patio or in the home office. Planters bring the garden to you, allowing greenery to be placed in areas that might not support a traditional garden, such as your front door stoop or a balcony. Outdoor planters are a beautiful element that can frame an area or draw the eye to a special spot in the garden. While using indoors, planters offer a home to indoor plants, adding life and softness to your space. The Newberry Urn by Campania International is the perfect piece, crafted from cast stone and hand-stained to order.

In the winter, if a planter is to remain planted, it should be raised up off the ground making sure not to block the drainage hole. This allows the planter to drain and will prevent the planter from freezing to the ground.

If the planter is not to be planted, it should be brought inside a garage or shed. If this is not possible, follow the steps above, but turn the planter upside down to prevent it from filling with snow and ice. It should then be covered or wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket or towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic to prevent it from accumulating moisture.

Tips from the Painters:

  • All the cast stone pieces are hand-painted to order. This method differs for each color. After the color is applied, all pieces are sealed.
  • Color variations will occur and are part of the unique quality of the fountain.

Depending on the color selection and environmental conditions, a touch-up may be needed after several years. Paint Kits are available in 10 oz bottles or gallon-size jugs.
