WARRANTY PERIOD
Valid for 10 years from the original purchase date. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non‑transferable.
CARE & MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
To ensure longevity and warranty protection, all Campania planters sold through Garden Gates must be properly installed and maintained as follows:
- Every planter must be elevated on pot feet or risers to allow water drainage beneath the base and prevent trapped moisture.
- Drainage holes must remain open and unblocked at all times.
- Avoid placing planters directly on surfaces that collect or hold water (including stone, concrete, and decking).
When planting:
- Place a piece of fine mesh screening over the drainage hole to prevent soil from clogging the opening.
- Add a 2–3 inch layer of coarse stone, gravel, or broken terra cotta chips to the bottom of the planter to create air space for drainage.
- Fill with a well‑draining potting soil designed for container use.
If planters will remain planted during winter:
- Keep them raised on pot feet or risers,
- Ensure drainage remains clear,
- Use well‑draining soil, and
- Select planting materials suited to cold weather.
Do not allow planters to sit in standing water or on frozen ground. Any cracking or damage caused by trapped water or freezing is not covered under this warranty.
If a planter will be stored empty, remove all soil and water, allow it to dry completely, and move it to a sheltered, frost‑free location before winter.
Failure to follow these installation and care guidelines will void warranty coverage.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Campania International’s and Garden Gates’ responsibility is limited to product repair or replacement as described under this warranty. Neither party shall be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from use, misuse, or inability to use the product.
