Very Happy with Purchase

Great size. It's very classic, beautiful, natural looking. Alpine, color shown.

Was concerned about the lack of notch to lock the top and base together, however it works fine. It stays put. We leveled the paver it sits on before setting the bath in place. Without the notch, I can easily tilt it when rinsing it out daily. Hard otherwise the splash all the dirty water out, it's so large.

Two large birds will bathe together in it easily due to it's size. Just don't fill it to the top, so smaller birds can use too.

Slight odor from paint / sealant, which is diminishing daily, and probably will help keep mold away. Initially a lot of foamy water, but fine after a day or two.

Prepare to dispose of 4 very large poured foam pieces, but they were necessary. The bird bath arrived in perfect condition.

Very happy with purchase so far. I've owned for a month.

    Recommended Care:

  • We suggest that birdbaths and or fountain tops not be left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water or snow and freezes, the top may crack.
    		•
  • All birdbath and or fountain bases, bench legs and statuary should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements.

  • If a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials and small components, and cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material(old blanket or towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze.

  • Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors.
    		•
  • Check the fountain periodically to insure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.

    Tips from the Painters:

    • All the cast stone pieces are hand-painted to order. This method differs for each color. After the color is applied, all pieces are sealed.
    • Color variations will occur and are part of the unique quality of the fountain.

    Depending on the color selection and environmental conditions, a touch-up may be needed after several years. Paint Kits are available in 10 oz bottles or gallon-size jugs.
