Very Happy with Purchase

Great size. It's very classic, beautiful, natural looking. Alpine, color shown.

Was concerned about the lack of notch to lock the top and base together, however it works fine. It stays put. We leveled the paver it sits on before setting the bath in place. Without the notch, I can easily tilt it when rinsing it out daily. Hard otherwise the splash all the dirty water out, it's so large.

Two large birds will bathe together in it easily due to it's size. Just don't fill it to the top, so smaller birds can use too.

Slight odor from paint / sealant, which is diminishing daily, and probably will help keep mold away. Initially a lot of foamy water, but fine after a day or two.

Prepare to dispose of 4 very large poured foam pieces, but they were necessary. The bird bath arrived in perfect condition.

Very happy with purchase so far. I've owned for a month.

Great customer service, need to provide more information about Isleboro birdbath

First, the customer service with Sara was responsive and gracious. The bird bath is beautiful. I love the simple, clean, and classical lines. I wish I could give 5 stars, except there was no connection between the large heavy bowl and the stand. I should have asked more questions instead of assuming the bird bath had the type of connection I've seen on other birdbaths. When I unpacked it, I was astonished to find there was just a flat surface on the bottom that was to be placed on top of the pedestal. I was very concerned about the safety of this design and didn't want either a person or an animal (herds of deer in our yard) to be injured if the bowl of the bird bath were knocked and fell. My husband was equally concerned and bought concrete epoxy to fasten the bowl to the pedestal as well as to attach a wide circular concrete base to the bottom of the pedestal. I'm happy to have this birdbath.

In winter, all benches, table legs, and statuary should be raised off the ground so they do not freeze to the surface.

Items with pool water areas should be wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (an old blanket or towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, ensuring that water does not accumulate and freeze.
