Campania International Low Bibendum Planter

The Low Bibendum Planter adds texture and form to any space, making it a versatile choice for both outdoor and indoor settings. Whether placed on a patio or in a home office, incorporating a planter with plants helps to bring balance to your home design. These planters allow you to introduce greenery into areas where a traditional garden may not thrive, such as on your front stoop or balcony.

This planter is featured in Alpine Stone Patina, a medium gray color with subtle green undertones. This color combination highlights the intricate details of the piece, enhancing its beauty as it ages. With a top diameter of just over 22 inches and a height of nearly 18 inches, the Low Bibendum Planter is suitable for small to medium plants and trees. It has a capacity of approximately 70 quarts of potting soil.

All Campania International cast stone planters come with a drainage hole at the bottom. The ideal saucer for this planter is 12 inches in diameter, as the base measures 11.5 inches.

Choose from a selection of colors, hand-stained to order. Color variations do occur due to the nature of the application process. Please refer to our color guide for additional information

In the winter, if a planter is to remain planted, it should be raised up off the ground making sure not to block the drainage hole. This allows the planter to drain and will prevent the planter from freezing to the ground.

If the planter is not to be planted, it should be brought inside a garage or shed. If this is not possible, follow the steps above, but turn the planter upside down to prevent it from filling with snow and ice. It should then be covered or wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket or towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic to prevent it from accumulating moisture.

Tips from the Painters:

  • All the cast stone pieces are hand-painted to order. This method differs for each color. After the color is applied, all pieces are sealed.
  • Color variations will occur and are part of the unique quality of the fountain.

Depending on the color selection and environmental conditions, a touch-up may be needed after several years. Paint Kits are available in 10 oz bottles or gallon-size jugs.
