This morning, the sky was the blue gray of the dullness of winter and the clouds were stretching out in the morning air. As the sun was just starting to creep over the rooftops, I thought about how the chaos of life just hits a pause button when the kids finally fall asleep and most mornings we wake to the remnants of last night's shenanigans. Grateful for all of yesterday’s memories, but in that very moment I was thankful for the calm and quiet.

Creating spaces of interest around the home, rearranging the office, living room or deck space, refreshing the old with something new, is one of my favorite hobbies. Embracing this morning’s mood, I have decided to enrich my deck space with the addition of a small fountain. The sound of water is so soothing to me and when I can meditate it helps me find my breath. Closing my eyes and shutting out all the chaos allows me to just focus on the sound of the fountain. While choosing one, I thought to share my favorites with you.
