Holiday Buyers Guide for Christmas Decor – The Garden Gates

Posted on by Chad Harris

Each year, TheGardenGates.com goal is to take the stress out of the holidays. From selecting the right tree size, delivery date, and delivery time to simplifying the buying process online.

Christmas Trees

Our Christmas trees are delivered on a leak proof stand with the option of lights to homes in Metairie and New Orleans. Each tree is hand selected from the mountains of North Carolina. The Fraser Fir Christmas trees are grown above 3000 feet. These conditions offer cool temperatures with lots of rainfall which is responsible for holding the needles on the trees throughout the Christmas season.   John Fraser, a Scottish botanist, was exploring the Appalachian Mountains in the 1700s and discovered these pyramid-shaped trees which can reach 80 feet in height with a trunk diameter of 1-1/2 feet. The Fraser Fir tree was named after John Fraser.
